lab meeting
Today I got to present data at the lab meeting for the first time. I didn't die of panic. My project was VERY simple compared to everyone else's, though. I'm putting a picture of my protein expression up for you guys because I'm really excited (This gel separates proteins by molar weight - the heavy ones stay on top and the small ones travel down faster). Isn't it pretty?

Very pretty! We got to do that with DNA once, but it didn't work very well. We had a bad batch of enzymes. What's your project?
"cloning, expression, and purification of M. tb proteins PknL and PknK" - we'll use them to make antibodies and perform functional analysis tests...
