Christmas!
Can everybody post any special wants/needs for presents? If you guys don't ask I will just get you random books that look like fun to read.
I love books, earrings, food, and everything anybody makes! Matthew and mark like legos (especially hoobit themed), art supplies, sparkly things, comic books and graphic novels and actually everything plastic, with small pieces, or usable for dress up. Matt is a mystery I think he likes food and graphic tee shirts and is just starting to listen to classical music. Rosie, if you had the urge to print a copy of your comic that is on paintlings, I would love it SO much. hugs and kisses

I could use cooking supplies. I have the obvious stuff, but I'm missing things like ramekins, biscuit cutters, pie cutters, cheese knives, pestles, or any less standard non-pot-and-pan cooking stuff.
I also like movies and weird books or music. I like history and strange cultural things and art and architecture, for book ideas.
Also candy. Or, I dunno, anything!
P.S. what stuff from Japan do you guys want, I'm leaving on Saturday so let me know soon.
What's a hoobit? ;) Sorry cuz, couldn't resist.
Merry Christmas!
I want something lovely from Japan! And nicely wrapped! OK siblings, post or you are only getting books of my choice !!!!
I really need a purse, more like a satchel than a fancy purse, but anything that would carry a few books and looks OK.
Books are great, I'm into science books, and also poetry is wonderful.
Earings would be nice, anything pretty , but not too big. I always like clothes too.
Decorations for my room, maybe. I also need another set of bedsheets.
Merry Christmas!!
I love books! Or comics, or anime. Japanese stuff! That would be amazing.
My feelings about Christmas gifts go in cycles -
1. Decadence
2. Guilt
3. Practicality
4. Return to 1
I've been told that I'm hard to shop for because I don't really WANT anything - I think the reality is that I find things that I think are cool and then forget about them.
I'm caught up in practicality right now - but I'm probably going to be feeling more decadent on Christmas.
Here are some things that I generally like:
Comics, but mostly about regular people. I've been into Lucy Knisely and Carla Speed McNeil for the past few months.
Movies and TV not so much. Games either, unless they are really good/classic/fun to play with other people.
My iphone case is still going strong after 1 year of use, but I could really use some cheap anti-glare protectors.
Colored inks and blank journals/notebooks.
Generalities and specificity! Oof.
