Christmas 2011
My dears,
It is that time of year again and though it is a little late for it, I would love for everyone to post a kind of wish list for everyone else here on the Clay Review.
Bredon, I did it, the end of the sentence did not hold the noun- I admit it was at the back but not at the very end of the line!
If you would like to post away, the more detailed your lists, the better and if you want, post lots of ideas- that way you will be surprised! Florid descriptions and discursive asides are most welcome!
And oh- Rose-O-Day...Happy Birthday my wonderful girl!! I hope it is a rings on your fingers and bells on your toes kind of day and a few elephants to ride upon would be welcome too!

Books. Any and all fiction. Fluffy is a plus. For mom, who requested specifics, I unearthed this: http://amzn.com/w/1VI9M6O4AE7B6 but even more I love random selections with good covers
Matthew wants legos or shiny things. Marky, I'm not sure but he is pleased with almost everything. He also wants new colored pencils.
We all love food.
Hmm... Well, bike helmets or a bike mask would be appreciated. I would really enjoy graphic novels or anime, preferably things I haven't heard of, though I don't have Ponyo or Castle in the Sky. Books or clothes are always nice, as are things for the apartment and food or tea. Rosie, I would love a piece of art from you.
board games of all sorts. Magic cards from any set. Video games like skyrim and Starcraft 2 (Sam doesn't want me to mooch off his starcraft account. I would like candy and chips :D. Fun books and comics. Oh and movies like rise of the planet of the apes or pirates of the carribean (the new one).
I wrote lots of things on my list not because I expect to get them all but for a larger selection for you to choose from.
I would like the game munchkin, any final fantasy games for the DS, any heroscape things, maybe godzilla for DVD, I especially want any magic cards, but anything would be a great present (ecxept socks)
I need a good thermos I can throw in my backpack for work.
A pair of shoes, or stylish but practical boots, not snow boots, something more like mom’s cool leather boots
stretched or un-stretched canvas
movies/books/comics
any cool clothes
sketch books
fun board games
Or anything else! Merry christmas!
Sorry this is so late - Madeleine has kindly reminded me of it at least 30 times.
:P
I'm interested in "On The Road" by Kerouac - I already have "Big Sur", and I want to read his earlier works. A rubber iPhone 4 case would also be super handy.
Some other miscellany:
Strong, creamy cheeses.
Understated earrings.
Subscriptions to cool magazines like National Geographic or Scientific American.
