Check out some indie games

I know most of you on here don't play video games, but you should really check these 2-3 minute long experimental browser games out. It's surprising how evocative the simple art and elegant design in these games can be.

The first two are by Daniel Benmergui: Today I Die in which you can drag and drop different elements of the world to affect the narrative, and I Wish I Were The Moon in which you can take pictures of various elements and use the pictures to move them around.

Another one is (I Fell In Love With The) Majesty of Colors by Gregory Weir. In it you play as a gigantic Lovecraftian sea creature discovering the surface world for the first time.

In all of the games, the point is to simply play with the environment and see how your actions affect the outcome. They all have several different endings, and work best when you try to find them all.

Anyway, I'm really fascinated to see how these oddities from the gaming scene bounce off of people who aren't as immersed in it all the time.
